DEGREES DESCRIPTION

Associate Degree in Theology 30 credit hours of course instruction of which 18 credits are taken from the core courses. This degree may be granted upon completion of the  courses taken over as long as a four year period or as little as one and half years.

Bachelor of Divinity Degree 60 credit hours 30 of which are transferred from another dean-approved institution and 30 as described in Associate's Degree. This degree may be granted upon completion of courses taken over as long as a four year period or as little as a two year period.

MA/Master of Divinity 36 hours above Bachelor Degree. MA students must take twelve credit hour courses in their field of specialization plus a dissertation with a minimum of 25,000 words and a maximum of 40,000. A students can elect to specialize in one of the following areas: Biblical Studies, Theology, Ecclesiastical History, Pastoral theology, Pastoral Psychology, Liturgics,Anglicanism or Missionology. The student will select the topic for research under the guidance of the course professor and the approval of the dean.

Doctor of Theology/Doctor of Philosophy in Theology 60 hours above Bachelor Degree  which are applicable to the area of specialization plus a dissertation. The student will select the topic under the guidance of  a designated professor with  the approval of the dean. The dissertation must have a minimum of 50,000 words and a maximum of 70,000 words.

ENROLLMENT

The student may enroll for a minimum of six  credit hours or maximum of twelve credits hours but must finish the registered courses with fifteen weeks or else he has to withdraw or get a failing grade. All fees must be paid before a course can be taken.

Tools for the evaluation of course work may include:
            Diary of hours in study and assignment preparation
            Written Exams
            Research Papers
            Position papers
            Thesis and  Dissertation
